Robert J. Lawrence

Robert J. Lawrence, a lifelong resident of Winooski, Vermont, passed away on December 28, 2024, in Burlington, Vermont with his family by his side. Born on November 3, 1960, Robert proudly embraced his Winooski heritage. His deep connection to his hometown was evident throughout his life and the many people who loved and cared for him.
A talented and dedicated meat cutter by trade, Robert worked for Jordan's Meats and Sysco Foods during his career. Robert was known for his vibrant personality and crazy sense of humor-qualities that endeared him to everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
Robert had a long standing passion for Ford Broncos and collected quite a few over his lifetime, the most coveted of which is the red 1974 Bronco he lovingly restored.
During the holidays, he became a source of joy and comfort for family and friends with trays of homemade lasagna and overflowing plates of cookies. His love extended beyond people to include his beloved dogs, who were constant companions in his life.
Robert is lovingly remembered by his children Tyler (Ariel) Lawrence, step-daughter Brandie (Don) Garrison and her three children; his granddaughter Haylei Lawrence; siblings Toni (Mike) Medlar, Steven Lawrence, Lisa Lawrence, and Sandy (Rick) Lecuyer; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Robert was predeceased by his parents Louis and Mary Lawrence, his sister Vicky Dubois, and sister-in-law Dorothy Lawrence
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Robert's memory and the lasting impact he had on those who knew him.
