William G. Lawrence

William G. Lawrence, born on September 9, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan has passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 84.

William is survived by his beloved wife, Debra Lawrence, his loving children, Michelle (Pete) Randazzo, Jamie (Carol) Lawrence, and Penny Lawrence, as well as his cherished 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

William spent most of his childhood with his grandma, Millie, who had a huge influence on his life. His love for cars was learned as a teen and he started working as soon as he could to earn money to buy them. His stories were endless and always enjoyed by all who had the pleasure of listening to them. Bill worked as a machinist for most of his life. His name was well known in the business as the guy who did the job right. Precision was how he did most projects. You could always find Bill sitting in his garage, cup of coffee in hand, just enjoying his life.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 3-8 p.m. with a funeral service at 7 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd (3blks. E. of Van Dyke) in Utica.
