Robert Calvin LayPort Sr.

Robert Calvin LayPort, Sr., age 58, of Alma passed away December 19, 2024 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born April 19, 1966 in Arcadia, Florida to the late Floyd Stanley LayPort and Allean Skinner LayPort. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, James Elton LayPort, Floyd LayPort, Billy LayPort and Stanley LayPort.
Mr. LayPort was a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Peggy Flowers LayPort; four children, Robert LayPort,Jr. (Ashton), Douglas LayPort, Ashleigh Thomas (Daniel) and Samantha LayPort; brother, John Wilson LayPort (Tina); sister, Sharon Collins (Danny) and five grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
