Earl Ray Hutchinson, age 84, passed away peacefully at Hospice Satilla on March 11, 2026, after a short illness. He was born in Baker County, FL November 28, 1941, to the late George Cecil Hutcheson and Pauline Johnson Hutcheson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ed, Jimmy, and Vernon Hutcheson.
He served in the United States Navy and was a member of Newbern Baptist Church. He retired from the trucking industry after many years of service.
He is survived by his sons, Cecil Ray Hutchinson of Waycross and Timothy Earl Hutchinson of Savannah; two grandchildren, Chris Hutchinson (Angel) of Millwood and Sara Nicole Hutchinson of Waycross; six great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Hutcheson of Waycross and sister, Martha Hutcheson of Jacksonville, FL.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
