Willene Taylor Williams, age 87, passed away on March 16, 2026, at Ashton Senior Living in Gainesville, GA. after a short illness. She was born in Ware County October 30, 1938, to the late Albert Taylor and Bonnie King Taylor. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Delbert Williams; her daughter, Denise Hogan and brothers, Dorris and J. A. Taylor.
She was a member of Decatur Free Will Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin Albert Williams (Sarah) of Cumming, GA and Gary Williams (Linda) of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Sharon Lynch (Wayne) of Stockbridge, GA., Gina Brandreth (Robert) of Athens, TN., and Michelle Ridgeway (Stephen) of Flowery Branch, GA; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren also survive.
A graveside service will be held Friday March 20, 2026, at 2 PM at Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery (998 Oak Hill Ch Rd, Alma 31510).
