Robert Bartholomew Lipori
"Beloved husband, father & grandfather"
Robert Bartholomew Lipori, 94, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Sunday, December 21, 2025. He was the loving husband of Morgan Marilou (Ferguson) Lipori.
Robert was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 11, 1931, a son of the late Pasquale and Adele (Ackerman) Lipori. He was educated in the New York school system. Robert was the owner/operator of Micro Precision in Stamford, CT before being employed at IBM as a master machinist until his retirement. Robert enjoyed flying and building model airplanes. He was a member of the oldest model airplane club in America the Brooklyn Skyscrapers Model Airplane Club.
Besides his wife, Robert leaves his children, Robert Lipori and Ronald Lipori, Laura Lipori all of Long Island, NY, Christina Farnworth of Amherst, NH, his two loving grandchildren Robert Lipori and Mia Isabela Lapham, stepsons, Brian Ferguson and his wife, Noreen of Waterbury and Michael Ferguson of Fresno, CA, his stepdaughter, Catherine Ferguson of E. Hartford, CT. He was predeceased by his brother, John Lipori.
Arrangements: A Memorial Mass for Robert will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 2, 2026 at The Shrine of Saint Anne ~ All Saints-Todos Los Santos Parish, 515 South Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06706. There are no calling hours. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the Church on Friday. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with handling Robert's services.

I met Bob at IBM research as a work study. He was a great mentor. I last saw him a few years back showing me the model airplane motors he had built. A gifted man for sure. Rest in peace my friend.
