Dr. Bob. I met Bob in the early eighties through a friend. At the time, we all shared a deep interest in building old cars. Just about then our group wanted to start a car club. Bob, A.K.A. "Bracket Bob", (widely known for his custom car bracket fabrication), was a big part of that as his family did custom jackets and embroidery. Bam! The "Valley Rod and Customs" were born. Over the years we attended many car shows and events together, making many great memories. I always enjoyed spending time with Bob as he always had a good joke or limerick to make us all laugh. I will miss his kindness and laughter and now more than ever his "amazing hair tonic".
Bob, till we meet again, Godspeed my good friend!

I met Bob 40 plus years ago through a friend. That friend, Barry Weeks founded a small car club called Valley Rod And Customs. Bob was one of the founding members! Life took us in different directions, so I didn't see him as often as years ago. But enjoyed chats at the fifties car show, and other events. He attended our wedding 200 miles away 39 years ago which I will never forget! I was happy to know him as a friend.
We mourn a great guy!
