Robert Peter Liska

Robert P. Liska, affectionately known as "Dr. Bob," passed away on December 31, 2025, in Fridley, Minnesota. He was 63 years old.

Born on July 11, 1962. He originally lived in Broadview, IL, before moving to Isle, MN. His parents owned Big Point Ice Fishing Resort. Bob grew up with a passion for mechanics and craftsmanship that would shape both his career and his personal pursuits. He graduated from Isle High School in 1980, laying the foundation for a lifelong dedication to precision work and technical skill.

Bob built a respected career as a machinist and CNC setup technician at NTM National Tool & Machine, Inc., where his expertise and attention to detail earned him the admiration of colleagues and clients alike. His work reflected not only technical proficiency but also a deep pride in doing things right-a value he carried into every aspect of his life.

Outside of work, Bob found joy in working on hobby cars, especially his beloved street rod. His enthusiasm for automotive customization was more than a pastime it was a true passion. He took great pride in showcasing his car at events like the Street Machine Nationals and the MSRA Back to the 50's, where fellow enthusiasts recognized both the quality of his craftsmanship and the spirit behind it.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Ann Liska. He is survived by his brother, Burton Liska.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and shared in the moments that made his life meaningful. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel (1827 Coon Rapids Blvd NW, Coon Rapids) at 2pm with visitation one hour prior.
