Sharon Rose Liska, "Beautiful Sharon"
Age 82, resident of Mendota Heights, MN. Sharon died peacefully at her home with her husband John, of 63 years, and her children and grandchildren at her side. She is preceded in death by her parents Irvin John Domagalski and Sigrid Alice (nee: Mattson) Domagalski; brothers Donald Irvin Domagalski and Wayne Allan Domagalski. Sharon is survived by her loving husband John whom she married on June 10, 1961; children Steve Liska, Mark (Monica) Liska, Terry (Michele) Liska, Brad (Amy) Liska and Brian (Tanya) Liska; grandchildren Nick Liska and Fiancée Ashley Hardy, Tyler Liska and Fiancé Sara Wennerstrand, Luke Liska and Jessica Liska; brother Bruce Dale Domagalski. She is also survived my many other loving relatives and friends. Sharon graduated from St. Paul Central High School in 1960. She dearly loved her family, friends, and holiday gatherings. She especially enjoyed Christmas. She loved cooking, gardening, baking, canning, and vacationing. Sharon loved cruising and enjoyed 28 voyages. She was a child day care provider from 1972 to 2001 where she "loved her kids". She and her husband John have resided in Mendota Heights since 1965. Sharon's celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24, at 3:00 PM, at Oakwood, 2585 Stillwater Rd., Maplewood. A reception will follow from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers Sharon's request was that memorials be made to Veteran's Casting Away Disabilities, PO Box 280, West Liberty, Iowa 52776.
Sharon generously donated her body to the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program.
