Robert Lonardo

Robert "Bob" Lonardo, 79, of North Providence, passed away peacefully at Miriam Hospital Saturday May 21,2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn "Cookie" (Maksymowicz) Lonardo for 53 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late William and Frances (Capece) Lonardo.
Bob was the co-owner with his brothers of Leni Creations, manufacturing costume jewelry for many years. He also co-owned The Brothers III Bar in Cranston along with his brothers. After retiring, he nightly secured Twin River Casino while daily on the links- maintaining his scratch golfer status. He was a member of St. Bartholomew's Mens Society, also an active supporter of Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Bob's pride and joy was being a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Robert Scott Lonardo; his daughter, Robin Anne Berube and her husband, Scott; a brother, William Lonardo; two sisters, Loretta Andreozzi and Elaine Iannucci; and his two cherished grandchildren, Tristan and Jaden Berube. He was the brother of the late Bartholomew Lonardo, Josephine Ferrante and Dolores DiSimone.
Bob had the kindest heart, a gentle spirt and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held Friday Morning, May 27, 2022 from 9 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence.
