CHAMPAIGN - Robert "Robby" Long, 44, of Indianapolis, formerly of Champaign, died at 5:25 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 6, 2024) at Allison Pointe Healthcare, Indianapolis. Funeral arrangements were incomplete at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Road, Urbana.

Coach Long was a person who was hard on me but always challenged me to be my best. In those dark days of college football he seemed to always know when to reach out. You will be missed.
