Robert, originally from Aldan, PA, was a resident of Voorhees, NJ for over 50 years. He attended Drexel University as a member of the ROTC program earning a degree in Chemical Engineering. He started his fulfilling career as a chemist for SmithKline before moving to RCA, GE, and finally Lockheed Martin.
Rob was a devoted family man. From coaching his sons' soccer teams to playing games with his grandchildren. Rob was happiest when spending time with his family, he looked forward to summers in Strathmere and vacations in Michigan. He filmed countless home videos that captured the wonderful memories made.
Rob lived a life fueled with passion, whether behind the wheel of his beloved 1956 Porsche 356 Speedster, or out on the golf course enjoying a perfect day. He liked watching sports rooting for all the Philadelphia teams. He took great pride in his home, spending countless hours tending to what many call his "impressive landscaping and lawn." Rob will be remembered for his big heart and the love he had for his family.
Beloved husband of the late Patricia Lorrilliere. Devoted father of Derek (Linda), Brent (Meredith), and Trevor. Loving grandfather of Morgan, Dylan, Hayden, Ava, and Bryn. Dear brother of the late Horace Lorrilliere.
Services are being held privately at the request of the family.
Rob supported many charities throughout his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's name to one of his favorite charities: the American Heart Association, American Lung Association, Alzheimer's Association, or Guiding Eyes for the Blind by clicking on the links below.
