Robert MacDonald Obituary
Robert J. MacDonald, 93, of Danbury, longtime resident of Ridgefield, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. He was the loving husband of the late Joan Elizabeth (Seyfried) MacDonald. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Saint Mary's Church, 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, 110 North Street, Ridgefield.

I first met Bob when he was the Brancj Manager ofthe IBM Office Products Divicsion branch office in Brudgeport, CT.. I always enjoyed working for Bob.As the son of n IBM executive, Bob exemplified all of the the qualities of the IBM'ers Ihad come to know and the type of man I aspired to work for. Bob was always profession nd showed respect for each of his his emplyees.
willmiss you, Bob, and thank you for jump starting my 37 year career for the best company ever!
