Robert Rob "Bobby" Mady

Robert Mady, 34, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, 3:00 PM at the Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland followed by a traditional Lao crematory funeral procession.
Robert, also known to his family and friends as Rob/Bobby, was born on October 3, 1987, to Chithavong and Sengthiane Mady in Danbury, CT.
He was the youngest of four siblings. Robert was a loving son, brother, and uncle who was passionate about activism, philanthropy, and Asian American awareness. He was a devoted brother of Pi Alpha Phi and continued to stay active in his local alumni group. He held multiple volunteered position at the national fraternity level including convention chair and most recently expansion chair. In addition to his civic duties, he was a world traveler that enjoyed all the delicacy of different ethnicity. After graduating from UNC Charlotte, he moved to Denver, CO to pursue his dream of becoming a speech - language pathologist.
Robert is survived by his parents: Chithavong Mady and Sengthiane Mady of Albemarle, NC; brothers: Somsanith (Aloun, sister-in-law) Mady of Carrollton, VA and Kittack Mady of Albemarle, NC; sister: Rathavone Thoy (Chris, brother-in-law) Wilder of Albemarle, NC; nieces: Karmalana Wilder, Phetchinda Mady, Rathavanh Mady, Saivalin Mady, Inthava Mady; and nephew: KyWilliam Wilder.
