Robert Marinucci Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home on Dec. 23, 2025.
Robert "Bob" Marinucci of Crete, Illinois, Age 82. was born on January 8, 1943, in Chicago Heights. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and spent much of his working life as a UPS truck driver, dedicating 30 years to a career marked by reliability, hard work, and pride. Along the way, Bob was also a barber, but above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Bob loved golf, playing the drums, and telling stories - especially the kind that grew better with each telling, but most of all he cherished his wife and grandchildren, who were the true joy of his life.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara (Skrezyna); his brother, Salvador (Sam); his children, Natalie Kistner (Dan), Rob (Kristen), and Stacey; and his eight grandchildren: Julie, Gina Vogler (Cody), Debra Harding (Brennan), Kathryn Becker (Andrew), Cindy, Dominic, Nathan, and Kylie.

Bob will be remembered for his steady kindness, unwavering integrity, and deep love for his family. His laughter and entertaining stories were gifts to all who knew him. Services were private.

I am so sorry to hear about Bob. I worked with Bob at Jeff st for about 10 yrs and the we both went to CACH about the same time. He was funny and always helpful to me and other drivers. I always felt that Bob was one of the nicest people that I ever met. His humor is one thing I will always remember most. I always felt that if someone didn´t like Bob than that person had a problem. One of the most likable drivers I ever knew. He will be missed that´s for sure. Dan Wolski. Fellow driver.
