Hi Daddy. You waited patiently for almost 21 years and now your bride is finally back by your side. I am happy for both of your souls, but the last part of you went with her and i am now missing you more than ever.

While you waited for her, I tried to do everything I thought you’d want me to do and I hope that I made you proud. And it is with an overwhelming feeling of pride that I read these thoughtful tributes left so long ago. (To anyone who may see this note, please know how much it meant to me to read these kind words.).
“He was a good guy”; “He was a wonderful man”. Two sentiments repeatedly expressed here that touched my heart. I am so proud to be “Bob’s daughter” and will continue to miss you every day of my life.

Love,
Gina Marie

Bob was a great guy! He was always quick to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a true friend to all that knew him. And that's why we all feel such a loss.
It's the " Good Ones", that we don't get to spend enough time with here on Earth. Because God needs them up there, more than we do.
I take comfort in knowing, that Bob is up there, continuing to do what he did best down here.
He's in Heaven managing the " Pearly Gate Lanes" He's looking after all the people from King's and Millbrae that preceeded him. He's probably keeping Earl Anthony and my Dad in line.
Bob could be summed up as " The Hardest Working Nicest Guy You Could Ever Hope To Meet"
He will be greatly missed..........

Dear Barbara and family:
I was so sorry to read in the paper about Bob. I had always enjoyed talking to both of you years ago.
Just a few months ago I met your daughter, who works at Serra Bowl, and was telling her how I knew both you and Bob when I bowled and was league secretary/treasurer at King's Bowl. I think Red Elkins was manager then but I met you folks along the way at Millbrae Bowl. I also did the publicity for some time for King's. I believe the era I was there was between 1964 to 1969. However, I saw the two of you quite often after that plus, if my memory serves me correctly, I did business with you when you had a trophy business???
We knew many people in common...Alice and Lon Curtis, Ann Morgan, etc.
I am deeply sorry about Bob's death. He was a warm and friendly man and well-liked by those who knew him. His death brings back many pleasant memories of both King's and Millbrae.
I wish you and your family well.
In friendship and sympathy,
Carolyn Livengood
P.S. I am sorry that I am unable to attend the funeral as I work for the San Mateo County Times and am committed to covering an event that day.
