Robert Harold McDonald, 86, widower of Ina Fisher McDonald, died Thursday July 24, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Dahlonega, GA in Lumpkin County; he was the son of the late Samuel F and Losey Chasteen McDonald. He was a loving dad and grandfather. He was of the Church of God Faith.
Surviving him are 3 sons, Sam, Billy and Robert McDonald; 2 daughters, Peggy (Lee Roy) Green, and Doris (Stephen) Dutton; brother, Dave McDonald and sister, Sib Dooley; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Daughters, Peggy Green and Doris Dutton will be officiating.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Cox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
