Mr. Robert Joe McNeese, age 82, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday morning, October 10, 2025, at Hamilton Medical Center.

Joe was born January 16, 1943, in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late Bruce Taylor and Minnie Lee Morgan McNeese. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Judy Frost, brother, Hoyt McNeese, mother-in-law Ruby Beaty Audre and father-in-law, Reed Beaty.

A 1961 graduate of North Whitfield High School, Joe proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his service, he dedicated his life to his family and his work. Joe was co-owner and operator of Pioneer Heating and Electric, where he worked alongside his brother-in-law for many years. His strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and commitment to serving others reflected his deep love for his community.

Above all, Joe cherished his family. He found his greatest joy in their love, laughter, and togetherness. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend - always ready with a kind word, helping hand, or story to share. Joe's faith was central to his life, and he was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Davis McNeese of the residence; sons, David and Regina McNeese, Jeff McNeese, and Adian Green, all of Dalton, GA; daughters, Lisa and Sammy Smith, Tammy Jenkins and Shawn Singleton, all of Chatsworth, GA, and Melissa Dotson of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Andrew McNeese, Kayla and Andy Ballew, Mark Smith, Kaley Smith, Christopher Pilcher, Steven Brown, Jenayie Chadwick, Christina Geister, Hannah and David Albertson, Faith Dotson, and Isreal Dotson; brother, Bruce "Mickey" McNeese of Cohutta, GA; sisters, Daisie and Lester Bruce and Ruth McNeese, all of Dalton, GA; mother of his children, Pat Monroe of Dalton, GA; special friends, Peggy Wright of Dalton, GA, and Joye Parson of Crandall, GA; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
