Robert Randall "Randy" McNeill

Robert "Randy" McNeill, 63, was called home to be with the Lord on December 21, 2025.

Randy was born on January 25, 1962, in Abilene to Robert and Johnny (Clark) McNeill. While in Abilene, Randy attended Abilene High School before moving to Houston, Texas where he worked as an electrician for Charlie Orr at Suncoast Services for 30 years.

On March 17, 2007, Randy married the love of his life, Lauri McNeill. Together, the two raised Jimmy McNeill (son), Tiffany Trammell (daughter) and grandkids, David, Jocelynn and Emery.

Randy finally retired to Merkel, Texas in 2020, to his late grandparents' home that his grandfather built.

Randy is survived by his wife, Lauri McNeill; his children, Jimmy McNeill and wife Jade of Clyde, Lana Sutton and husband Tray of Abilene and Tiffany Trammell of Merkel; his grandchildren, Kerri-Anne Martin and husband Robert of Abilene, Cody Lynn of Bandera, Lane Couch of Abilene, Amanda Thames and husband Connor of Odessa, David Brady of Merkel, Jocelynn Butler of Merkel, Emery Freytag of Merkel, Josh McNeill and Greysen McNeill; great grandkids, Trenton Thames, Hadley Martin and Colter Thames; siblings, Jerry McNeill and wife Martha of Abilene and Ima Norman of Abilene and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Refuge-Ministries, 6010 Hwy. 277 S, Abilene, Texas 79606.
