Robert McPherson

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert McPherson, 63, on February 5th, 2025 when a car struck him while riding his motorcycle. His loss is completely unexpected leaving his entire family heartbroken. Rob was born in Fairfield, CA to Robert and Betty McPherson. He was the youngest of 6 children.
Among many things, riding his motorcycle, fishing and throwing darts with his buddy Bill were some of his favorite things to do. In his younger days, he was the wheelie king of the streets. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends and his beloved dogs. Every child he met, called him Uncle Robbie whether they were blood related or not, it didn't matter, he loved them all. His love for his family and friends was unconditional as was theirs for him. We'll always remember the way he made us feel and the joy he brought into our lives. His canine companions were also very dear to him. Bam Bam, Dino and Tiny. There is no doubt they will miss him as we all do.
He is survived by his longtime partner/companion Catherine Young. His three children, Jason (Faye) McPherson, Savannah (Connor) Prout, and Robert McPherson. His five siblings, Sherry Huffman, Diane Smith, David McPherson (Jane), Kathleen Royer (Steve) and Gail Torrence (Dave). Grandchildren, Lena Joy and Lucas James McPherson, Isla Ryan Prout, Malia Violet McPherson, Step grandchild I'munique Cheatem. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as many great nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Chef Megan / Ironwood Café for always supporting, caring for and loving Robbie like family.
Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty McPherson, stepmom, Maryanne McPherson, sister in law Cindy McPherson, brother in law Bobby Huffman, nephew Mickey Smith, step grandson, Dezon Cheatem, and many others.
Services will be held on February 28th at Rockville Garden Chapel, 4219 Suisun Valley Road, Fairfield, CA. Viewing will be from 10:00-11:00, Service at 11:00 followed by a short cemetery service.
Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and forever dear.
