Once again I would like to give my sincere condolences! I was very fortunate to help care for Mr.Melson at VRM! I as all loved to talk and listen to all the history he had about Troy and his life in Troy as well as the love he had for his Family and Troy! I Truly am honored to have been given the chance to help take care of Mr. Melson! I know he would always say to me call me "Bob"! I just really liked to call out his name like Denis the Menace " Oh Mr.Melson"! I too grew u on Stowe Hill in "76" all the fabulous history he shared with me and I with him about the "Hill" ( Stowe hill) was awesome! We also shared how much he loved his family! He truly will be missed. Thank you to the Melson Family for sharing him with me truly an honor Thank you all my love, Maria J. VRM

To the Melsom family, Bob was a wonderful, wonderful man. He worked in the gift shop at Samaritan for years, but 10 of the years that I was there he was my guy he could sell straw hats to Eskimos. Bob will be missed by many he always had a story. He knew everybody.

I will always remember his stories! He had stories about his family, about the history of the Brunswick Church (he was a big part of that history), stories about mutual friends....his memory at 94 was amazing. He was a good friend and I will miss him. My condolences to you and yours, Nancy, Janice and Jack.
