The Final Flight
Do not think of me and cry.
I am not there, I'm up in the sky.
Born with the wings of an eagle, I was destined to fly.
Flying and gliding with wings open wide, I've passed my final checkride.
I'm free to fly, I can now see why flying to places I have only dreamed of, my wings open wide.
The perspective is clear from up here,
I have no fear listening to my favorite tunes - I will see you on the other side.
Don't worry about me, for now I am free, to chase all my dreams.
Free to fly as the eagle I was destined to be.
Do not grieve for me.
I did not die.
I just earned my golden wings, flying high in the sky.
