He is survived by his mother, Ruby Metcalf; his children, Blake & Heather Metcalf, Heath Metcalf, Bethany & Carl (Metcalf) Shown, Logan Metcalf, Kiley Metcalf, and Kinley Metcalf; Grandchildren, Sasha Metcalf, Anna Metcalf, Bubba Metcalf, Kyrstin Metcalf, Jerni Metcalf, Christian Smith, Mason Shown and Audrina Shown; Great Grand-children, Xander Leinart, Rue Leinart, and Dezalee Mcmurry; brothers and sisters, Teddy and Carolyn Metcalf, Brian Metcalf, Linda Metcalf, Shirley & Robert Hendren, Patricia Nora, and Connie Lansdon.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Metcalf; father, Ray Metcalf; brother, Melvin Metcalf; sister, Cindy Lewis; Nephew, Joey Monroe. He also had many nieces, nephews, friends, family, and loved ones he loved and cared deeply for. In his lifetime he was many things: a Navy Seabee, a preacher, a pastor, a carpenter, a husband and a fisherman but above all those things he was a father. This is not goodbye this is "gone fisin" I'll see ya later. Godspeed dad. We will be having a celebration of life event at Truth Way Baptist Church on Nov 18th 2023 at 12:00pm.

He was my friend a long time, I was 18 or so when I first met him. He always had a smile and a joke.. He was my pastor for a long period of time and my friend for it seems like forever. Rest in peace Robert, There are so many memories of robert , it would be hard to pick one.
