Robert Meyer Obituary

Robert Meyer passed away tragically on February 27, 2026, at 70, after being struck as a pedestrian in a hit-and-run incident in Yuba City, CA.

A software engineer by trade, Robert's analytical mind and technical expertise shaped a successful career in the tech industry.

He pursued his passions as an accountant and as a house remodeler, transforming spaces with skillful hands and construction expertise.

He cherished long hikes through Alaskan landscapes as a younger man and the thrill of flying remote control airplanes as he got older.

Robert prospered for many years through hard work, but believed God redirected that success toward a higher calling, warning Christians that they had surrendered their liberties and moral authority by accepting government influence and unchallenged falsehoods.

He viewed this drift as a betrayal that endangered families, future generations, and the nation's founding principles.

His message urged believers to examine everything, expose deception, and reclaim the responsibilities he believed God entrusted to them.

Answering this call cost him nearly everything. By 2017 he had lost his wealth and stability, yet he accepted these losses as the price of obedience.

A memorial service was held on March 17, 2026, at Sutter Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of the tragic earthly loss of Robert, but rejoice in knowing he is celebrating with our Savior now. To all of you who knew and loved Robert, I send my deepest sympathies, & pray for peace & comfort for your hearts. The apostle Paul stated in Philippians 1:21 "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain". Robert is enjoying that gain. RIP Robert.
