Wendy Meyer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Fern Creek Funeral Home - Louisville on Mar. 18, 2026.
Wendy Michelle Meyer, age 48, passed away in Louisville, Kentucky on March 13, 2026.

Wendy was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose heart was open to everyone she met. She is survived by her three children, Ryne Pettyjohn, Heather Ottersbach, and Victoria Alexakos; her mother, Deborah Leechman; her fiancé, Alvis Poff; her four brothers, Thomas Pablo, Neil Pablo, Brian Pablo, and Ricky Pablo; and her four beloved grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy. She cherished every moment spent with them and loved watching them grow.

Wendy had a nurturing spirit and an extraordinary capacity to care for others. She always found a way to take in anyone-or anything-that needed love or support. There wasn't a person she wouldn't have cared for. To many, she was more than a friend; she was a mother to all and a safe place for those who needed one.

She was preceded in death by her twin sons, her father, and her grandmother. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now reunited with them.

Wendy believed in the Lord throughout her life, and in her final days, she reaffirmed that faith by baptizing herself and giving her life fully to Christ. Her family finds peace in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior.

Her memory will live on through the many lives she touched with her compassion, generosity, and love.

A visitation to celebrate Wendy's life will be held at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026.

Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.
