Robert J. Meyer

Robert Joseph Meyer, Jr., born July 2, 1945 in Valley Stream, New York, unexpectedly passed away on January 22, 2026 at his home of the last 30 years in Acton, Maine in the presence of family.

A loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Bob spent the last 57 years tirelessly working to provide a loving and secure home and lifestyle for his family. Along with his wife Joan, he created an environment of encouragement, support, common-sense, and spiritual values that his family continues to cherish.

Bob took a great interest in his children's activities and pursuits, past and present; from attending music and dance performances, little league baseball games, providing transportation for lessons, practices, and events, to career and personal achievements. He took great pleasure and pride in sharing his home with others, and along with Joan, generously hosted countless barbeques, holiday gatherings, and celebrations over the years for friends and loved ones.

Bob is survived by his children Lisa, Jennifer, Carol, and Robert, his son-in-law Joshua, his grandson Jackson, and his golden retrievers Felix and Oscar.
