Robert F. Miller, 92, a lifelong resident of Tatamy, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. He and his wife, Betty Jane (Roth) Miller, celebrated 73 years of marriage on July 19.
Born in Tatamy, Robert was a son of the late George F. Sr. and Grace (Applegate) Miller. He was a graduate of Nazareth High School, Class of 1950. Early in his working career, Robert began to hone his professional skills as an electrician and appliance repair specialist, which led to his ownership of a successful commercial refrigeration business. Along with his wife, Betty, they owned and operated Miller Refrigeration in Tatamy for decades, before retiring. Beyond his tremendous work ethic, Robert found great pleasure in the enjoyment of the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Grouse Ridge Hunting Club in Greeley, PA, as well as Maskenozha Rod & Gun Club in Bushkill, PA.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Betty, he will be dearly missed by his three sons, Jack Miller and wife, Sharon, of Bushkill Township, Jim Miller and wife, Debbie, of Tatamy, and Mark Miller of Nazareth; five grandchildren, Michael Miller, Erica Kleinle and husband, J.P., Tyler Miller, Wyatt Miller, and Colton Miller; five great-grandchildren, Payton, Addison, Bryce, Harper, and Levi; along with many nieces and nephews.
Robert was predeceased by two sons, Craig and Scott Miller; a brother, George F. Miller, Jr.; and two sisters, Margaret Housel and Arlene Lynch.
Services: In keeping with Robert's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements and cremation care are under the direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., Village of Moorestown - Bath. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: www.bensingfuneralhome.net.
