Robert Mize

Robert Guy Mize "Butch", passed away April 11, 2023 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Susan for 51 years. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Alice Mize; and brother Scott Mize. Brother-in-law of Janet Patton, Toni McCoy, the late Nancy Hannan, the late Karen Derouin, and the late Bill McCoy. Godfather of Kalila McCoy and Toni McCoy. He was also survived by many nieces nephews and cousins. Butch worked at GM Cadillac Motors and retired after 30 years. He followed his passions of traveling, fishing, camping, gardening, and cooking. He played on several different baseball leagues over the years and was always an asset to the teams he was on. He passed down his skills to our younger generations. Butch was a kind and caring man and always saw the good in people. Everyone that knew him loved him. Per his request, visitation Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 2 pm until time of funeral service at 6 pm at Neely-Turowski Funeral Home, 30200 Five Mile Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48154.
