Robert Molinari, 82, of Patterson, New York, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025. Born on July 31, 1943, in Queens, New York, Robert lived a full and vibrant life marked by love, laughter, and dedication to his family and country.

Robert proudly served in the United States Navy, carrying with him the values of service, strength, and integrity throughout his life. He was a fiercely independent and caring man, known for his quick wit, love of a good joke, and the deep affection he had for his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carol Molinari, and is survived by his devoted daughter Justine Pecora; his cherished grandchildren Jalysa, Josh, Jonathan, Joseph, Jessie, Jacob, and Jaylen Pecora; and his four adored great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his loving brother, Michael Molinari.

Robert found great joy in the simple pleasures of life - sharing a Coors Light with friends, enjoying the company of those he loved, and especially spending summers with his granddaughter Jalysa, who held a very special place in his heart.

Those who knew Robert will remember his warmth, his strength, and his unwavering love for his family. He brought light and laughter into every room and lived his life with grace and humor.

At the close of his beautiful life, we hold onto this poem, which speaks to the deep love and sorrow we feel in his absence:

God looked around his garden,

and He found an empty place.

He then looked down upon this earth

and saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you

and lifted you to rest;

God's garden must be beautiful

He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering,

He knew you were in pain,

He knew that you would never

get well on earth again.

He saw that the road was getting rough

and the hills are hard to climb.

So He closed your weary eyelids

and whispered "peace be thine."

It broke our hearts to lose you,

but you didn't go alone.

For part of us went with you

the day God called you home.

Robert Molinari will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
