Robert Molnar

Robert W. (Bob) "Big Poppy" Molnar, passed away peacefully at his home in Bristol, PA,
surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, just shy of his 80" birthday.
Born on July 8, 1944, to Dominic Dea and Helen Molnar, he was a lifelong resident of
Bristol, PA, where he worked as a Drywall Finisher his entire work life.
On October 31, 1961, Bob married the love of his life, MaryAnn (Bonner) Molnar, and had 5
children. Bob and MaryAnn were happily married for 63 years.
Bob loved and enjoyed his family most, especially his grandchildren and great
grandchildren. He enjoyed watching and betting on horse racing, going to the casino, and
loved watching sports. He was one of the last true fans of the game of baseball, always
cheering for his Los Angeles Dodgers. He was truly one of the team's biggest fans.
He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Diane Molnar; parents, Dominic Dea and
Helen Molnar; sister, Betty Peterson; brothers, Dominic "Dittle" Molnar, John Molnar, Joe
Molnar, and Gene Molnar.
He is survived by his wife, MaryAnn Molnar; son, Robert W. Molnar, Jr.; daughters, Susan
Bowman, Joanne Molnar (Chuck), and LeeAnn Molnar (Rob); grandchildren, Richard J.
Bowman, Jr., Robert Pirollo, Zachary Bowman, and Harry Chambers; great grandchildren,
Lorelai Pirollo, Greyson Bowman, and Deacon Bowman; brothers, Frank Dea and Raymond
Molnar; sister, Barbara Howell, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
