Robert ONeal Moor, age 81 of Sanford, passed away August 11, 2025 with family by his side. He was born in Anson, Texas on November 13, 1943 to the late Lonnie and Sarah (Hughes) Moor. Robert served his country honorably with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married the former Terry Grigar in May of 1994 and they have shared 31 years together and at least 5 trips to Hawaii.

Robert enjoyed competitive shooting and was a marksman coach, a skill he passed onto his sons. He created cabinetry and loved woodworking, and also in younger years, was a Boy Scout leader in Sanford. Robert looked after and took care of many stray animals that were found around their home and yard. He loved being grandpa, involved with his grandchildren's lives, loving them, their sense of humor and the amount of laughter all around, showing them life skills, guidance, and always having an accepting heart.

His memory will be cherished by his wife, Terry Moor; children, Jeffery Moor (Letetia), Phil Moor, Dan Moor (Stephanie), Karrie Wagner (Randy Tripp), Shelly Hollinshead (Jeff); grandchildren, Hunter (Hollis), Heather (Brandon), Carrie (Ryan), Evelyn, Selene, Kyle (Jenn), Joel (Bridget), Ryan (Bridgette), Heidi (Brandon) and Bethany (Noel); 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; brother, David Moor (Linda); and in-laws, Tena Wagner (Jerry) and Thomas Grigar; and his beloved dog, Sophie. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Margaret Laird.

Funeral services for Robert will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Wilson Miller Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd. Midland, MI 48640. Burial with military honors will follow in Midland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be offered to an animal rescue of one's choosing or to the Sanford American Legion. The Moor family is being cared for by Wilson Miller Funeral Home.
