Robert C. "Bob" Mowry

Robert C. "Bob" Mowry, age 71 of Bellville, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born on August 6, 1954, in Mansfield to the late Harland C. and Nina (Farst) Mowry, and in August of 1972, he married the love of his life, Connie (Snyder), beginning a partnership marked by devotion, hard work, and unwavering love that spanned more than five decades.

Bob was first a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He found deep fulfillment in the life he and Connie built together. Bob was a lifelong farmer who took pride in his work and the land he cared for. He enjoyed visiting with neighbors and being part of the farming community he called home. Bob also enjoyed tractor pulling, supporting FFA, and attending the Bellville Fair, activities that reflected his love for agriculture and community connection.

He is survived by his wife Connie Mowry; his sons Tim (Jennifer) Mowry, Jason (Deanna) Mowry, and Levi (Amber) Mowry; his siblings Nora Jackson, Carolyn Dearth, Gerald Mowry, Andy Mowry, and Gary Walker; his grandchildren Samantha Mowry, Taylor Jones, Summer Miczek, Cullen Delong, Chandler Delong, Jossie Delong, and Tanner Delong; and his great-grandchildren Hartley Scharosch, Apollo Delong, Lynnux Delong, and Cooper Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harland and Nina Mowry and his brothers Ronnie Mowry and Harland Mowry, Jr.

Friends and family may gather to honor Bob's memory on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Storyside Church, 541 State Route 97 W., Bellville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Storyside Church, or family and friends may contact a family member to learn other ways to help.
