Robert "Bob" Arthur Myers, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, of natural causes on August 23, 2025. Bob was born to 2 loving parents: Grant V. Myers and Blanche Sorensen, in Ogden, UT, on February 26, 1941. Bob's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family, his passion for the great outdoors, and his remarkable ability to fix and create with his hands.

Bob's journey began in Ogden, where he grew up learning the value of hard work and the importance of family. He graduated from high school and went on to further his education with two years of college.

For many years, Bob dedicated his skills to the Hill Air Force Base as an aircraft sheet metal mechanic, a role that allowed him to showcase his precision and attention to detail. His colleagues knew him as a man of integrity and commitment, and he was respected for both his work ethic and his camaraderie.

Bob's interests were as varied as they were engaging. An avid hunter and fisherman, he found solace and joy in the serenity of nature. His love for rebuilding and customizing old cars was not just a hobby, but a canvas for his creativity. Bob's yard was a testament to his love for working with his hands, and Bob loved his four-legged friends, his beautiful black labs. They were his constant companions, and brought him immeasurable happiness.

Those who knew Bob would describe him as handy, creative, and generous. He had the rare ability to envision a project and bring it to life, often surprising his loved ones with his ingenuity. His generosity extended beyond his immediate circle, as he was always willing to lend a hand or share his knowledge with anyone in need.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Judy Myers, and his devoted sons, Scott Myers (Janet) and Rick Myers. He was a proud brother to Kent Myers (Terry) and was preceded in death by his brother Gary Myers (Mary). Bob's legacy is one of love, laughter, and craftsmanship, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bob is survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, which he loved dearly!

As we bid farewell to Robert "Bob" Arthur Myers, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of purpose and joy. His memory will continue to inspire us, and his spirit will remain a guiding light in the lives of his family and friends. Bob's story is not one of an end, but a beautiful reminder of the impact one life can have on so many.

Final goodbyes for family and close friends will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd, 12:00-1:30 PM at Leavitt's Mortuary, 836 36th St, Ogden, followed by interment at the Uintah City Cemetery, 1500 E 6450 S, Uintah, at 2:00 the same day. Please dress casual (no suits).
