Robert Nester Obituary
Robert Russel Nester, 78, of Latrobe, passed away Saturday, Mar. 22, 2025, at UPMC - Mercy Hospital. He was born Jan. 4, 1947, in Allentown, to the late Robert P. and Irene (Jacoby) Nester. Robert worked as an automotive parts driver and he also worked with disabled adults. He enjoyed model trains, bowling, and fishing. His greatest joy came when he spent time playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robert is survived by his wife, Diane Marie (Young) Nester; two step-children, John Raffius Jr. and Christine Gonzalez (Daniel); six grandchildren, Breah, Larry, Quinlan, Leona, Annaleeze, and Caitlyn; four great grandchildren, Malaeh, Javion, Harper, and Novalee Grace; one step-grandchild; and four step-great grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at the Latrobe Salvation Army, 1420 Ridge Ave., Latrobe, PA 15650 on Thursday, Apr. 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
