Robert T. Nichol

It is with heavy hearts that the family wishes to announce the passing of Robert Tyler Nichol, age 78, of Madison, Tennessee, on January 9, 2026.
Tyler was born on July 3, 1947, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Robert W. Nichol and Mildred G. Nichol. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he demonstrated a strong sense of duty, honor, and commitment.
Tyler was a devoted husband, father, cherished grandfather, and caring brother. He was known for his creative talents and his gift as an artist. He was admired for his steady presence, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family. His greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved most, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Nichol; his daughter, Darbi N. Hannah (Jerry W. Hannah); his granddaughter, Dailyn J. Hannah; his grandson, Cody W. Hannah; and his sisters, Julia Deardorff and Pamela Lammers.
