Beloved husband of the late Marilyn S. (nee Shannon) Northway; devoted father of Caroline (Daniel) Gonzalez, Robert A. (Rachel) Northway, Amy (Kenneth) Wise, Sarah (Stephen) Schunk, John (Julie) Northway and Michael Northway; cherished grandfather of 21 grandchildren; dear brother of the late Charles (late Mary) Northway; also survived by nieces and nephews. The family will be present Sunday from 5-8 PM at the (Harris Hill Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8440 Main Street, Clarence. Family and friends are invited to assemble Monday at 10:30 AM to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Mary's Church, 6919 Transit Rd., Swormville. Interment to follow in Clarence Fillmore Cemetery. Robert was a United States Army Veteran. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to People of Praise, Buffalo Camp, 5225 Harris Hill Rd., Williamsville, NY 14221. Share condolences at www.AMIGONE.com

Your Dad was a generous man with my family because of the strong lifelong relationship he had with my parents. When my Mom, Paula Wrobel, passed away 3 years ago, he allowed my family of 8 plus extra people stay in your childhood home for the days around the funeral. We were incredibly grateful and blessed by that gesture of love. I remembered years of joy in Disciples of the Lord community with the Northway family. Your Dad made a huge positive impression for me from that early age. A mass at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, McCormick , SC will be said for him February 15. May he rest in peace.
