Publish in a newspaper

Robert A. O'Neal, 60, of Cumberland, MD passed away on November 6, 2025. Born in Cumberland in 1965, he was the son of the late Robert "Bob" and Kaye O'Neal.
Robbie graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1983. Rob worked a variety of jobs throughout his lifetime starting from a very young age. He took a lot of pride in his various jobs including Acme Market, and Schwan's Consumer Brands. Most recently he had been working for the Maryland Department of Transportation.
He was a true animal lover, with some of his happiest days spent riding and working with horses-a passion that stayed with him throughout his life. He cherished his pets, from horses to his beloved cats, who were his loyal companions.
Family meant everything to Robbie. He was born with a giving heart and always put the needs of others before his own. His love was steady, quiet, and unwavering-felt most deeply through his actions, making it impossible to name all the ways he cared for his family and friends. Every act of kindness he gave came from pure love, never for recognition, but simply because that's who he was.
Robbie was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert "Bob" and Kaye O'Neal. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years; Cindy; and two children: Meghan O'Neal, and Chad O'Neal. His siblings, Kelly (Kevin) Steckman, Wade (Julie) O'Neal, Shelly (Jim) Fitzgerald, Matthew (Amanda) O'Neal, and 17 nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD (www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com) on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. A funeral service will begin at 1 P.M. with Reverend Harold McClay, Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park.
