Robert Overfelt Obituary
He graduated from Columbus High School and worked as the groundskeeper at the Irwin Miller Estate for 30 years, a job that he took great pride in. Bob met his wife of 63 years, Wilma (Bragg) Overfelt, at the skating rink, and they were united in marriage on October 28, 1962. A true outdoorsman, Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also was talented in playing the guitar. Above all, Bob was a kind and devoted family man who always put his family first. He will be fondly remembered by his loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Rubena Zamora and Louise Line; brothers, J.W. "Chub", James, Doyle, and Lindy Overfelt.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Wilma; children, Pam (David) Fromer, Roberta (Doug) Lucas, Dawn (Todd) Slacum, Robert E. (Michele) Overfelt, and Eric (Michelle) Overfelt; 21 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
The Overfelt Family will gather privately to remember, honor, and celebrate Bob's life privately at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery. We are so sorry about the passing of our good neighbor. Bob was always so friendly and kind. How we will miss his warm smile and those friendly chats! Our prayers are with Wilma and the family.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Dawn and I were great friends in high school and there were many days I would walk into the living room to see her dad sitting in his chair watching tv. May time heal your grieving hearts and keep good memories near and dear.
