Dr. Robert Gene Owens

Holding back tears as I type this message. My condolences to the family. I will always remember Dr. Owens had the ability to correct his students and at the same time make us laugh at ourselves then go and fix it. He started out as my choir director at Fayetteville State but without him knowing it became so much more he was a patient and nurturing professor. He will be missed but his spirit lives on. I can still hear him saying in his High pitch " no that's not how you do it" Dr. Owens you will be missed, but more importantly you will be remembered. Love you Doc
