Robert Wayne Parrie

A “Celebration of Life” Memorial Service for Robert Wayne “BoBo” Parrie, 48, will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Bo was born on July 12, 1976 in Shreveport to Larry Parrie and Sarah White and passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024.

Bo loved the Lord. He loved serving the Lord in everything he did whether it be working, preaching, or just fellowship. He derived great pleasure in helping others. He also loved his family and his nieces and nephews with all his heart.

Bo is preceded in death by his grandmother, Flora White; brother, Stephen Parrie; aunt, Mary Brown; and uncle, Robert White. Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Sarah White; father, Larry Parrie; dad, Rickey VanVeckhoven; sisters, Tracie Lostaglia and Jennifer Mangum; brother, Rickey VanVeckhoven, Jr.; and a host of family and friends.

Honoring Bo as pallbearers will be Patrick Lostaglia, Chuck VanVeckhoven, Danny Cook, Timothy Poe, Christian Hammette, and John Ferguson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Brown, Larry Parrie and Rickey VanVeckhoven.
