Coach Parsons was born December 9, 1941 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to Mr. Curtis Parsons and Mrs. Lucrecia Lewis Parsons. He was a High School Coach at Paulding County School District. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, coach and friend to many.
He is preceded in death by: Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis (Lucrecia) Parsons; Brother, Mr. Charles Parsons.
He is survived by: Daughter, Brigitte Sosebee (Greg); Daughter, Christy McBride (Kip); Grandchildren, Benjamin Sosebee, Will McBride, Olivia McBride; Brother, Leslie Parsons; Nieces, Pam Ellis, Wanda Gharibian; Former Spouses, Connie Godfrey, Tina Rakestraw.
Funeral Services for Coach Robert Parsons will be held Wednesday April 16, 2025 at 11 A.M. at Dallas First Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens in Dallas, Georgia.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025, 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
In honor of Birdie (Coach Parsons' loving cat) in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Paulding County Humane Society.
