Dorothy J. (Stevenson) Parsons, 90, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Life Care Center of Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Paul E. Parsons.
Born June 1, 1935 in Pawtucket, RI she was the daughter of the late Preston B. and Florence E. (Hainsworth) Stevenson.
Dorothy was raised and educated in Attleboro. A graduate of Attleboro High School Class of 1954 and the Framingham Union Nursing School.
In addition to living in Pawtucket, RI and Attleboro, MA, Dorothy also lived in Bellingham, Medway, Easton and Carver. She was employed as a Registered Nurse and throughout the years worked at Framingham Union Hospital, Milford Hospital and the former Easton Lincoln nursing home.
Dorothy enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, puzzles and watching the Red Sox and Patriots. She truly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Cheryl Lefebvre (Kevin) of Fort Collins, CO, their children, Shea Lefebvre (Emma) and daughter, Grey Lefebvre; Caitlin Fields (Cory), their children, Murphy Fields and Reagan Fields all of Laramie, WY; Mark Parsons (Gayle) of Attleboro, MA, their children, Daniel Parsons (Melissa) of Swampscott, MA and Courtney Sheehan (Ryan) of North Attleboro, MA; Gary Parsons (Kathy) of Wilmington, MA and their children Ryan Parsons (Andrea), their children, Emerson and Eloise Parsons all of Reading, MA; Nicole Parsons of South Boston and Jillian Parsons of New York City.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Preston B. Stevenson, Jr.
Family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Life Care Center of Attleboro as well as the staff at Christopher Heights.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Service, 20 Peck St., Attleboro, MA 02703. Private Interment will follow in the Newell Burying Ground, 1502 West St., Attleboro.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Life Care Center of Attleboro Activities Department. 969 Park St., Attleboro, MA 02703.
