Robert Douglas Penick

Robert Douglas Penick of Campbellsville, the son of the late Charlie and Geneva (Milby) Penick, was born December 21, 1948, in Green County, KY, and departed this life on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in Louisville at the Norton Hospice Inpatient Care Center. He was 76 years of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Sand Lick Separate Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and was a retired employee of Nutrien Ag.

He enjoyed bird hunting, farming, going to church, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Phyllis Penick.

Survivors include his wife, Jane (Bloyd) Penick, whom he married in 1967; his children: Robbie Penick and wife Bonnie of Greensburg and Allison Baker and husband Dale of Berea.

Also, three brothers and two sisters: Larry Penick, Dennis Penick, and wife Brenda, all of Greensburg, Rex Penick and wife Terri of Maryland, Selena Marcum and Ramona Penick, both of Campbellsville.

Ten grandchildren: Luke and Brooke Penick, Leah and Matthew Garrett, Sarah and Jonathan Hunt, Abigail and Dawson Fields, Whitney Clark, Grace Goodin and her husband Nahom, Paxton and Morgan Goodin, Mason and Kali Goodin, Matthew Baker and Coty, and Sarah Baker; 17 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Robert Douglas Penick will be on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.

Bro. Mason Goodin and Bro. Paxton Goodin will be officiating.

Interment in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation on Friday after 11:00 A.M. until the time for the service.
