Robert James Perdew, age 48, passed away on July 23, 2024. He was born on January 2, 1976 in Altus, Oklahoma to Robert Perdew and Mary Carrier (Mahan/Perdew). He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Carrier (Mahan); step father, Jerry Carrier "Pops"; grandmother, Jean Purcell and grandfather Earl Purcell; grandfather, Clyde Mahan; grandfather, Ralph Perdew and grandmother, Eileen Perdew; uncle, Chris Mahan; many great aunts and uncles. He is survived by his father, Robert "Bob" Perdew; Josh Morehart, whom Rob thought of as a son, brother Scott Carrier (Sherry) and sister Deni Carrier, great aunt Mary LaFollette and great uncle Mike LaFollette; great aunt, Carol Bowers; aunt, Darlene Knowlton; uncles Mike Humes (Rachel) and Ralph Perdew Jr. (Sandy); aunts, Vickie Williams, Teresa Perdew; Rhonda Weaver; Renee Taylor (Bill); cousins, Matthew Armitage, Nick Summers, Brittany Purcell, Jessica Purcell and Sarah Knowlton; numerous other cousins, and friends. Rob was a huge Commanders fan. He loved golfing, playing softball and pool. He was a master at trivia. When Rob was younger he loved playing monsters in the hallway with his cousins and street racing his S10. Rob never knew a stranger. He was a very charming and outgoing man who always took pride in looking his best. Rob will always be remembered for his loving heart, the way he could light up a room and always being late for everything.
Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, where funeral services will then be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
