Robert Joseph Pitarys

Robert Joseph Pitarys, 76, of Nashua, NH leaves behind his loving wife, Gail (Young) Pitarys who will cherish 55 married years of fond, loving, and treasured memories.
Robert passed away peacefully on August 14, 2022 surrounded by love and family. He was born in Nashua, NH son of the late Stelion "Steve" and Celia Pitarys.
Bob was a member of the NH Association of Purchase Management and served as President and Director of National Affairs.
He worked for many years as a Purchasing Manager for Whitney Screw Corporation of Nashua, following 12 years as an Inside Sales Representative for Accurate Fasteners of South Boston.
Some of his favorite activities and passions included playing cards and listening to gospel and classic country music. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants, Boston Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics.
He loved family gatherings and vacations, especially trips to Foxwoods. Precious to him was time spent with his grandchildren and all the family pets.
In addition to his wife Gail, he leaves behind son Scott Pitarys and his life partner Dawn Bellino, their daughter Natalia Bellino, and their grandson Alexander Bellino; son Brent Pitarys, wife Michele O'Neill-Pitarys, and their children, Ashley Pitarys and fiancé Spencer Radford, Brooke O'Neill and significant other Jonathan Cruz, and their son Jonathan, and Ella O'Neill Pitarys and Ava O'Neill-Pitarys; daughter Tracy Lynn (Pitarys) and husband Donald Desrosiers and their children Robert Woods, Katelyn (Woods), husband Justin Tilbe and daughter Aubree. Robert also leaves behind his loving sister, Irene (Pitarys) Francoeur who was a kind, compassionate and devoted caregiver alongside Gail; brothers Paul Pitarys and husband Banjob and John Pitarys; brother-in-law Robert Young and wife Donna, and Gregg Young and his wife Lynne. Bob kept in touch with his special Aunty Helen (Pitarys) Dabilis as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte. 113) Pepperell, MA on Monday, August 22nd from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m followed by a funeral service at noon. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment will follow at Association Cemetery – Pepperell. The family would like to thank the Community Hospice House of Merrimack, NH for their kind, compassionate care of our loved one. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to Home Health Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
