Robert G "Bob" Plaskett

Robert "Bob" G. Plaskett, age 83 and formerly of Florence, KY passed away on May 24, 2024. Bob was born in Torrington, CT on August 6, 1940 to Gurden W. Plaskett and Leona Mary Woiechowski. Bob was a U.S. Navy Veteran and worked several different jobs throughout his career; he worked as a police officer, realtor, he ran a heating and air conditioning company, but was perhaps best known as a food entrepreneur, for over 50 years he was known for making funnel cakes, pork rinds, lemon shake-ups and various treats. Bob also was the founder of Pin Ministry for the Homeless. Bob is preceded in death by his Parents, Brother Donald Plaskett, Daughters Donna Lee Plaskett and Sue Ellen Massey, and Son-in-Law Albert Massey. Bob is survived by Linda Plaskett, Daughters Sherry Maynard (Keith) and Bobbi Ward (Ed), 17 Grandchildren, 47 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM with the Funeral Service to follow at 12:30 PM on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US 42, Florence, KY 41042.
