Robert Eugene Poole, 65, transitioned peacefully on January 23, 2026. A celebration of life will be held on Monday February 2, 2026 at New Light Missionary Baptist Church 1105 Willow Road Greensboro, NC 27401. Visitation with the family will be 12:30 p.m. followed by the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Maplewood Cemetery 235 Bingham Street Greensboro, NC 27401. Public viewing of Mr. Poole is Sunday February 1, 2026 from 2 to 5:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home & Cremations 1024 Homeland Ave. Greensboro, NC 27405.

Hello friends and family,
I am so sorry to share that we must postpone Robert´s services once again due to inclement weather. Unfortunately, the church parking lot was not able to be plowed in time for tomorrow´s service, and our priority is keeping everyone safe.
We will reschedule once the weather improves and will provide ample notice when new arrangements are made. Please know that it will be a beautiful service honoring Robert´s life.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued love and support. Your kindness has been such a comfort to me. It truly fills my heart to know how deeply my brother was loved by so many.

Because of inclement weather conditions the family is postponing Robert´s celebration of life until Tuesday February 3, 2026 at New Light Missionary Baptist Church 1105 Willow Road Greensboro, NC 27401. Visitation with the family will be 12:30 p.m. followed by the service at 1:00 p.m.
Public viewing of Mr. Poole will be Monday February 2, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home & Cremations 1024 Homeland Ave. Greensboro, NC 27405.
Interment will be Friday February 6, 2026, 2:00pm at Maplewood Cemetery 235 Bingham Street Greensboro, NC 27401.

Lisa and family, expressing my sincere heartfelt memories and sadness for the loss of your brother Robert (Rock). I have such wonderful memories while being in Rock´s presence. Lisa, you and I have been close friends for many years and your family has always been dear to me. Rock would always greet me with a smile and kind words. He was really funny too. I can't believe he's gone. Praying for God to embrace you and your family with comfort during this very difficult time.
