Her family was her cornerstone, and she carried that sense of togetherness throughout her life.
A proud graduate of Uniondale High School in 1967, Susan's life was characterized by her devotion to her family and her home. While she held various office positions, Susan found her true calling in being a homemaker. She poured her heart into raising her three daughters-Jodi Marcis and her husband Andrew, Jill McCluskey, and Alison Poole with partner Jim Colliton. Susan's sense of humor was infectious, and she had the uncanny ability to uplift spirits and elicit laughter in any situation. She was the life of any gathering, and her stories will be recounted with smiles for years to come.
As a grandmother, Susan was second to none. She cherished her grandchildren, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, and Jessica Marcis, and took immense pride in their accomplishments. They, in turn, adored their grandmother and will carry the wisdom and love she imparted with them always.
