Elizabeth White Obituary
A devoted homemaker, Libbie, embraced a life full of love and warmth. She shared 56 wonderful years with her husband and soulmate, Regiland "Reggie" McCoy White, Sr. Together, they exemplified partnership and love in its truest form. Her family fondly remembers her as everyone's best friend, and she especially cherished being a confidante and companion to her beloved Reggie.
Libbie's appreciation for life was evident in her many interests and loves. She enjoyed diverse activities and was known for her vibrant spirit. Whether entertaining friends or finding joy in decorating her home, Libbie brought an infectious zest for life that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Libbie was a valued member of the Ahoskie Women's Club, where she formed enduring friendships and contributed to the community she loved so dearly. In Libbie's honor, may her memory serve as a reminder of a life filled with love, laughter, and the joyous embrace of family and friends.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories shared with her family, whose lives have been brighter for having her in them. In addition to her devoted husband, Reggie, Libbie is survived by her children, Regiland "Reggie" White, Jr. and wife Susan of Hebron, MD, and Nathan White and wife Melissa of Woodland, NC. She also leaves behind her precious grandchildren: Kirk Holloman and his wife Ashley of Ahoskie, NC, and Jessica White and her wife Lindsey of Aulander, NC. Her great-grandchildren, Ayden, and Kellen Holloman, and Caydence Brown, were a source of immense pride and joy for her. Also surviving is her daughter in love, Lisa Liverman of Askewville along with her cherished son, Peyton.
Her siblings, Gail Burkett and husband Ray, Lynn Vann and husband Buster, both of Ahoskie, along with Darlene, Tommy, Donald, Ronald, Paul, and their spouses, will hold her memory close in their hearts.
A celebration of Libbie's life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service in Ahoskie, North Carolina.
Libbie's family encourages those who wish to express their condolences to visit www.garrettsykesfs.com. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, North Carolina.
