Robert lived his life full of love. He found his true love, Tracy, at an early age and they built a family together. First came his oldest daughter, Michelle. A few years later came Morgan, the youngest daughter and their family grew to 4. Through the years he was a loving husband and father with a few side jobs, such as, a soccer/softball coach and collector of stray animals that his daughters would bring home. All of which he would end up loving as if he picked them up himself. Above anything else, he loved and cherished his girls. They were his world and he was so proud of the young women they grew up to be. In his final moments, Robert left this world how he lived it. Full of love and surrounded by those that loved him most.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Pope and Angela Nicita Pope. He is survived by his loving wife, Tracy Pope of Florence; daughters, Michelle Smith (Keifer) of Florence, and Morgan McRaney (Bryson) of Florence; granddaughter, Peyton Smith; sister-in-law, Ginger Hartman; siblings, Jody Pope of Byram, Lori Luther (Ricky) of Richland, Karen Brown (Bryan) of Byram, Leigh Cone (Brett) of Madison, Tony Pope of Florence, Ray Pope of Florence, Joey Pope (Robin) of Birmingham, AL and a host of nieces and nephews.
